skin is a reflection of our health and well-being from within.
Nutrition is extremely important in how ‘flawless’ our skin can and will
be. Often times, there is a particular food that is placed in the
spotlight as ‘THE’ answer to all of our skincare prayers. The truth is
there are many foods that can be our Savior. So, where do we start?
What do we eat? We want to have flawless skin now and not later, right? Here are three Super Foods that we should start eating now! Let’s dig in. 1. Avocado Avocado
is nutritionally rich in Vitamins A, D, E, potassium, lecithin, and
beta-carotene. It also has the fatty acids – palmitic, palmitoleic,
stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic. The high content of sterolins is
known for helping to reduce age spots and scars.
Avocado has a superior moisturizing effect and is effective in assisting with the rejuvenation and regeneration of skin cells. Wild
salmon is super rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamins B3, B6, B12, D,
phosphorous, magnesium, and selenium. Salmon helps our skin by reducing
the damage from free radicals that are caused by stress, lifestyle, and
aging. So,
let’s find a way to incorporate these three super foods into our daily
meals. For me, I will start with eating guacamole more often which is
not a problem because I love it! Also, I will experiment with
different recipes and have at least one meal during the week with wild
salmon. For the olive oil, I will replace all other oils used with this
